Beekeeper Matthew Visits
On Monday, Matthew, Mrs. Bachnacki’s son visited the classroom to share about his hobby: beekeeping! He brought in some of his supplies and told the class about how he collects honey. He explained how honeybees make honey and how he protects himself while managing the bees. Students were able to try on his gear! Students loved hearing about and seeing pictures of his beekeeping!
Children's Museum Field Trip
Students had a great time on our field trip to the Children’s Museum! They explored many different areas/exhibits including: the market, the theater, the farm area, the vet clinic, the ambulance, police car, building workshop and many more. It was a great hands on experience and students were encouraged to use their language to interact with each other.
Christmas Party
At our class Christmas party, students celebrated by playing games, doing a fun art activity, and passing out their cookies to share. Santa even came for a visit!
Preschool Thanksgiving Feast
On Monday, November 20, students in the four Pre-K classes participated in a Thanksgiving Feast. First, Pre-K 4 students sang a song about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans. Then, we prayed and parent volunteers helped students select the food they would like to try. We had turkey, cornbread, cheese and crackers, veggies, fruit, pumpkin pie, and apple pie. Students were dressed as Pilgrims and Native Americans and had a great time eating and sharing together!

Halloween Party!
We had a great time on Halloween celebrating in class. First, we marched in a parade through the hallways to show the other classes our awesome costumes. Then we had spooky popcorn witches’ hand snack. Our parent volunteers helped us run some games like bowling, candy corn races, witch ring toss, pumpkin bozo buckets, and pin the nose on the pumpkin. Students also got to make fun ghosts using Styrofoam cups and streamers. Lastly, students passed out their treats and goodies to each other.
Pumpkin Farm Field Trip
Our field trip to the Pumpkin Farm was a great success and lots of fun! We went on a haunted wagon hayride, braved a spook shed, ate lunch outside, played in the special Kiddie Koral playground, and pet and fed the goats and saw chickens and bunnies. Each student was given a pumpkin, coloring book, apple, pencil, and spider ring as we left the farm. Thank you to our volunteers who helped out. It was a great day!
